Lacey and Christine finally meet!
Lacey was scheduled to make the long trip from her quarantine station in Houston over to Switzerland in July. Her new owner, Christine Höltschi, made the trip over to America to fly home with Lacey! Even though Lacey has been gone from the farm for over a month, this was the first time Christine had actually seen her! Christine reports that Lacey exceeded her expectations and handled every portion of the huge trip like a pro, never hesitating at different stalls, ramps, buckets, nor trailers. Lacey and Christine have made it safely home to Switzerland now and will soon begin their show career together. Watch for their results and win photos from Longe Line and Yearling In Hand Trail right here this fall! Thank you so much to Christine for sharing her pictures with us!

Welcome home, Tonka!
This month Tonka was finally old enough to be weaned. A special thank you to JDG Quarter Horses for taking such great care of our baby colt while he was still nursing! Tonka has been named Pleasure Power and is currently our leading Longe Line and Yearling In Hand Trail prospect for 2011. He has that big eye, long neck, and great front leg so often seen in the children of A Pleasure Sensation. We can hardly wait for next year!

Our time has come to an end...
It is with mixed emotions I announce the sale of my beautiful filly Lacey (JDG Bet Your Asset). Although I really wanted us to travel to the APHA World Show in November and take a shot at the Yearling In Hand Trail buckle, she caught the eye of Christine Höltschi of Switzerland and has been sold. We are in the process of completing her paperwork, and she will travel to quarantine later this month and go to live with Christine overseas in July. Although I'm sad to lose this nice filly so early in our partnership, I am very pleased that she has a "Forever Home" and Christine has had success in the In Hand Trail before and will be continuing that portion of her Lacey's career. In addition, Christine has aspirations of learning Longe Line and competing in the fall futurities, so I am confident this is a good match and a great home for my sweet and talented girl. I would like to offer a sincere Congratulations and Good Luck to Christine and Lacey!

In Hand Trail debut for JDG Bet Your Asset!
Jaime and Lacey had another great show at the PPHC May Madness in Camden, SC on May 15-16. They received a first and second in Amateur Longe Line, a first and a second in Open Longe Line, two firsts in Overo color, and swept the In Hand Trail (first time for Jaime AND Lacey!) with two first...for a total of 10 points! Most importantly, it was a positive and fun experience. Once again, the many compliments on this nice filly are greatly appreciated! To the many that have asked for a price on Lacey, she will be available this fall and is sure to make a great western pleasure prospect! (photo George Hakim)
Thank you to Diane Chapman!
Diane Chapman of Somerset, CA has purchased our 2010 buckskin daughter of One Hot Krymsun, Kara Mel Krymsun. We wish Diane the best of luck with all of her endeavors with this pretty filly!
Lacey a Longe Line point earner...
...her FIRST TIME OUT! JDG Bet Your Asset placed first under two judges at the PPHC Spring Warm Up in Camden, SC in the open longe line with Jaime at the lead. She is a very young filly who we are not pushing and the appreciation for the quality of this baby was surprising but appreciated. Thank you to everyone who commented on this nice filly! Welcome our 2010 Krymsun Kolt!
A Sudden Creation (see Mamas page) foaled a palomino kolt by multiple world champion and leading sire One Hot Krymsun on March 11. He is a strong boy who is super friendly! His face has a perfect star and he has that klassic one white foot...but his is in the back! Watch for more pictures of this western pleasure prospect in the coming weeks!

2010 Babies have started arriving!
Docs Power Crystal (see Mamas page) has given us an absolutely beautiful son of A Pleasure Sensation we call "Tonka," because he's stout, yellow, and loads of fun! So far we could not be more tickled with his balanced body and exquisite head. His unique combination of color, movement, and beauty will be stunning in the show pen later in life.
