It's definitely a sign of the times. As a culture, a civilization, a people, we are doing more things online. Every Christmas reports a higher percentage of online shopping. Ebay - with its numerous forms of of online auction offerings - has become a huge business and wildly popular in recent years. Is it any surprise that the equine industry may follow suit?

Unlike these Austrian scientists, I did not think to measure his cortisol levels nor take his weight; however, based on my un-scientific accidental test of their study at home, I would agree with their findings.

I explained that it was really hard for a horse to maintain its rhythm, cadence, flat knee, slow legs and fluid way of going at a super slow speed. It required a combination of correct training, an athletic body, and a nice horse, OR a just superior horse to begin with, but there were many, many good horses out there that looked fantastic at a speed slightly faster than we normally showed them.

As far as I know, youtube was started as a way for folks to share videos of lots of stuff. It was not originally intended to be one large video marketplace. Why would one assume it was a free online advertising site for horses for sale?
