The CCWHA year end banquet was a time for all of us to get caught up and see each other once again.

AQHA Incentive Fund changes for 2012

December 12, 2011 22:13 by Jaime
I believe these changes are outrageous. Can I have a refund, please? I would never have nominated my foals for the first $100 had I known you were going to change the rules midstream. Totally not cool, and I have just added it to the list of reasons that I will not be participating...

Showing a New Horse Every Season - Yearling Only Classes

November 5, 2011 09:41 by Jaime
Figuring out these details and more are part of what makes showing yearlings all the more interesting. No two are alike and the sooner you mold your program to fit your yearling instead of the other way around, the sooner happiness and success in your relationship and showing is going to come.

My Horse in her Poodle Costume for Halloween

October 30, 2011 16:42 by Jaime
We paraded around and I could hear people say, "that's a poodle!" My main goal was to have not a single person ask what we were, and it was a success! Everyone claimed they knew that Kadence was a poodle because she looked just like one!

Equine Fotography by Jaime website change

If you take the time to comment, I'd love to know if you have ever been disappointed that the horse show you were attending did not have a quality professional horse show photographer. Tell me your experiences.

Memories of a good little showmanship pattern

October 11, 2011 17:08 by Jaime
It was full of opportunities to get some pluses or minuses on the judge's card next to your number too. It was a showmanship pattern open for interpretation, and done correctly, could really let a nice horse shine.

CCWHA Horse Show Highlight

October 8, 2011 20:15 by Jaime
I saw a pair of dark eyes watching us and a little hand stick out and wave to us. As I approached, I waved back and then stopped right behind her. I still had to look up to see her, but not much.

Hot 2 Trot | Safe and Organized Alternative to Longeing at Congress

September 28, 2011 01:54 by Jaime
One of the major drawbacks of Congress is the extended periods that horses must endure without any free time whatsoever, often cooped up in warm barns that smell of urine. Until now, exercise on the longe line was the only feasible alternative to riding or ponying.

One Hot Krymsun rebounds Longe Line at the NCQHA Futurity

September 25, 2011 10:57 by Jaime
In recent years, declining numbers in the longe line had led the futurity committee to omit the Non Pro Longe Line from the class list. One Hot Krymsun offered to bring the class back and sponsored it with $1000 added.

Thoughts on showing at different levels of horse shows.

September 15, 2011 12:07 by Jaime
Horse shows are about fun and your personal goals. Don't let the thought of where you "should" be distract you from that!

Only your pocketbook and personal self control would limit what you could find in there!
