There's more to Kasino

The point of this story is twofold: first I want to share with everyone the methods I figured out for faster healing, and second, I want everyone to know what my colt went through, all the while smiling for pictures and being the star of blog entries exalting his superior mind and trainability.

Memories of a good little showmanship pattern

October 11, 2011 17:08 by Jaime
It was full of opportunities to get some pluses or minuses on the judge's card next to your number too. It was a showmanship pattern open for interpretation, and done correctly, could really let a nice horse shine.

CCWHA Horse Show Highlight

October 8, 2011 20:15 by Jaime
I saw a pair of dark eyes watching us and a little hand stick out and wave to us. As I approached, I waved back and then stopped right behind her. I still had to look up to see her, but not much.

Yearling In Hand Trail Patterns

My focus at home is to practice body control and the parts of a trail pattern, but it's still nice to study the flow of the whole thing every now and then.

Idea for salvaging your weanling picture.

October 7, 2011 03:53 by Jaime
Do you have any options if the pose you love doesn't turn out for some reason (maybe it is too dark, out of focus, or lacks some other essential element)? Of course with today's Photoshop gurus, many options are available that never used to be. We all know it's easy to fix a blowing tail or a crooked band or a distracted ear. But what if the ENTIRE picture is not right, but it is the ONLY ONE of that pose? [More]

Hope for a Knock Kneed Filly

The most recent post tells the story of a filly that was not given the proper care nor chance to live a fulfilling life, yet was not given the courtesy of euthanasia either.

I'm Pretty Sure I'm the One who GOT THE SHOTS

October 2, 2011 22:09 by Jaime
...In fact, none of the rest of the day went exactly to plan. But Jodie, my mom, and I worked well together and ended up with over 500 pictures of Kadence and me. As we went to lunch and reviewed the proofs, I was like a kid at Christmas.

I LOVE my Kasino

But you guys knew that, didn't you? In fact, it's hardly fair that this is yet another post on Kasino when Kadence was such a good girl. So let's start there.
