At last!  On January 16, our wait for the Golden Jetlette was over!  A beautiful, healthy palomino filly was born at 11:40 PM.  Expert equine mid-wife, Nancy Donohew, was in attendance, but mother MWS Indy Gold (aka "Seven") needed little assistance.  Knugget was born from hoof to hoof in under ten minutes.

Jody & I are pictured to the left with our golden bundle of joy and her dam on January 19.  Many thanks to Nancy for allowing us to lease this world champion producing daughter of Seven S Flashyzipper and to Becky Bailey for introducing me to One Hot Krymsun and continuing to allow me to support my jetlet addiction!

Typically it is my delight to name babies words that start with "K", but this time, it was my mother's suggestion to add the famous (although silent) "K" to the front of this Krymsun Kid.  I liked it!  (Who says daughters never listen?!?)
