OH MY GOODNESS!  What a fun time I had today!  Thank you to Katie and Patty for helping me put together the poodle costume for my horse, Kadence.  I think I could have done it alone but it was much easier and way more fun with eager help!

Costume Parade

The arena was very muddy so they allowed everyone in the class to walk around the outside of the pen.  There were fifteen entries! 

We paraded around and I could hear people say, "that's a poodle!"  My main goal was to have not a single person ask what we were, and it was a success!  Everyone claimed they knew that Kadence was a poodle because she looked just like one!

I also had a poodle wig

One minor embarrassment was that I was the only entry in the class over the age of 20 but that's ok.  I was thankful not to win and clapped for the winners, which were two little boys dressed as football players leading their mini who was dressed as a cheerleader, complete with her own pom poms attached to her front legs!
