I can hardly complain over 2011. I have my health. I am blessed with several great horses and dogs. I am surrounded by family and boyfriend that love me. I was given a great new job with fantastic benefits. The long awaited baby Kasino finally arrived, and I have enjoyed every minute of his weanling year, much of which was documented right here on this site. So it is not without appreciation for 2011 that I welcome 2012.
For 2012 is full of potential. My favorite things to do, yearling in hand trail and yearling longeline, can only be done during one year of a horse's life. And for Kasino, this is it. The first show is a mere three months away. Furry or not, we intend to be there. There are tons of good times to be looked forward to all year. Goals have been set, including a world show attendance should Kasino's mind and body see fit to allow it.
So welcome 2012. Please be filled with mild weather and absent of bad luck. This time next year, I want to be writing about everything we did.
